Overview

The heart of a referral program is the advocate experience—the call-to-action used by your customers to share your brand and your product with friends, family, and the world. The sharing experience provides advocates with the following options:

  1. Native Sharing: Allows advocates to share with their friends via any eligible apps they may have on their phone

  2. SMS Sharing: Allows advocates to share with their friends via text

  3. Email Sharing: Allows advocates to email their friends with the referral offer

  4. Facebook Sharing: Allows advocates to post the referral offer to Facebook

  5. Twitter Sharing: Allows advocates to post the referral offer as a Tweet

  6. Messenger Sharing: Allows advocates to message their Facebook friends with the referral offer

  7. WhatsApp Sharing: Allows advocates to message their WhatsApp contacts with the referral offer

  8. Pinterest: Allows advocates to post the referral offer on Pinterest

  9. Share Link: Provides advocates with a personal URL that they can share with friends and family, post on their blog, or share through other channels

When advocates email their friends, the friends are given clear instructions on how to redeem the referral offer and are presenting with a landing experience that incentivizes them to take the next step—whether that's registering for your email list, making a purchase, or opening an account.
