How Do I Clone an Existing Campaign?

Steps to Duplicate a Campaign

So you have successfully created a campaign that expresses your brand and you want to use this as a template for creating a new campaign. In order to duplicate or clone an existing campaign please follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the main Programs page of your My Extole account.

  2. Find the campaign you'd like to duplicate and hover over it to display the icon menu.

  3. Select Duplicate from the icon menu options.

  4. A pop-up window will appear to confirm your action. Click Okay.

  5. The Programs page may take a second to reload, but once it refreshes, your newly duplicated campaign will be visible. If you cannot find the clone, be sure to check and see if there are any views applied to your Programs page. Selecting the Everything view will ensure that you can see the duplicate.

Prep Before Going Live

Until you are ready to go live with your newly duplicated campaign, you will need to disable several sections.

Under the Advocate Section you will need to disable the following sections:

  • Earned Reward Email

  • Promote Destination

  • Welcome Email

  • Share Experience

Under the Friend Section you will need to disable the following sections:

  • Conversion

  • CTA Email

  • Landing Experience

  • Registration

  • Share Destination

  • Share Destination Facebook

  • Terms

Under the Marketing Section you will need to disable all of the placements that are currently on your live campaign.

Reward Configuration

The new campaign will inherit all of the original campaign’s creative including the referral offer structure. If your reward structure is changing, you’ll need to reach out to Extole to coordinate the new incentive configuration.
