Overview
Welcome to the My Extole platform. Whether you’re logging in for the first time or you need a refresher, this guide will walk you through the top two sections of your My Extole account: the Programs page and Program Dashboard.
The Programs Page
When you first log in to My Extole, you’ll land on the Programs page. Here you’ll see a list of your Extole programs and the campaigns within them. Each program has its own icon menu where you can click to view performance, edit or duplicate campaigns, preview your assets, or go live.
What is a Program?
A program consists of one or more campaigns targeted to a given audience for a given outcome. Your company can have a single program, like an evergreen Refer a Friend, or multiple programs that cater to different groups of participants, such as influencers, affiliates, international customers, and more.
Key Actions on the Programs Page
Once you’ve landed on the Programs page, the most common destinations are:
View Stats. Selecting this option will take you to the specific program or campaign-level dashboard. The Stats icon in the gray bar will take you to your program dashboard, while the icon in-line with your campaign will take you to your campaign dashboard. Learn more about your dashboards.
Edit Campaign. Selecting this option will take you to our Campaign Editor, where you can customize the creative elements, behavior, and rules of your campaign. Learn more about the Campaign Editor.
Program and Campaign Dashboards
If you want to see the performance of your program, click the bolded program name in the gray bar to view all time performance, or the specific campaign to view campaign level performance. You can also click the Stats icons as described in Key Actions above.
Looking at your Program Level Dashboard, you’ll see performance at a high level, by campaign, by promotional source, and by share channel. These metrics will help you understand the scale of your program as well as the rates associated with your program journey and can be filtered for a specific period of time.
Let’s take a closer look at each part of your dashboards.
Performance Over Time Graph
The first visualization you'll see on your program and campaign dashboards is a chart of performance over time. The chart displays a count of different metrics. In a referral program, metrics include everything from impressions to outcomes like purchases, account openings, quote submissions, application submissions, account fundings, policy purchases, subscription purchases, and so on.
Different programs may have different outcomes or events displayed on their dashboards. You can hover over each event to see a description.
If you are looking for additional performance or user data, you can either click the download icon in the top right corner of the dashboard or visit our Reports section. Learn more about Extole Reports.
Rates
Rates are displayed in two places: in the chart itself and, on program dashboards, in a table below the chart. The Campaigns table on a program dashboard gives you quick and easy insights into the performance of each of your campaigns, which can be great for evaluating the results of an A/B test. Similar to other parts of the dashboard, the formulas and descriptions for these rates can be modified to fit your business. Hover over the tooltips for descriptions of each rate.
Promotions
You'll use your Promotions section to evaluate the traffic and outcomes of your various promotion sources. By default, we show you each source's contribution to Shares. However, like the rest of the dashboard, the numbers you look at to analyze your promotions can be customized to fit your needs.
Share Channels
The Share Channels section tells you where program participants are sharing from, whether it’s from social media, email, or SMS. This section may also include a channel breakdown for other key events in your customer journey, such as account openings or registrations. The metrics you use to analyze the performance of various share channels can be customized to fit your needs.
Key Actions on Dashboards
Similar to on the Programs Page, you can edit or duplicate your campaign, preview your assets, go live with an A/B test or burst, and more—all from your dashboards.
This is just the beginning of what is available to you in the My Extole platform, but should give you a good overview of the key areas you’ll be interacting with.
