Overview
One of the channels that an advocate can share your offer and brand with their friends is via email. Because some friends may not click on the offer in that original email, Extole has a feature that will enable a reminder email to be sent to the friend after a specified amount of days.
Enable the Friend Share Email Reminder
To enable this feature, open Campaign Edit and make sure your filters are set to show you Advanced settings.
Open the Friend tab and select the Share Email Reminder creative. Search for the Enable Referral Remind Emails setting and double check that it is turned on.
When enabled, this setting will display a checkbox (checked by default) on the Share Experience so that advocates can ensure their friends will be reminded of their offer a certain number of days after the initial share.
Set Up A Schedule
Within the settings of the Share Email Reminder creative, you can specify how long after the initial Share Email the reminder is sent. Search for the Delay Period setting and create a customer delay.
