Overview

Extole supports sending rewards via multiple providers. Clients may choose to use Tremendous if they:

  • Require specific reward types such as International PayPal

  • Want to use multiple gift card banks or funding sources

  • Prefer to fund the gift card account directly themselves

  • Prefer to use their existing Tremendous account (not required)

Redemption Experience

When an Advocate or Friend earns a reward, they receive an Earned Reward Email from Extole. This email leads to a redemption page, where they can select from available reward options. Once selected, the reward is sent to the recipient’s email address.

Setting Up Tremendous Rewards

The Tremendous integration is configured by the Extole Support team. We will create the account on your behalf and complete the integration. If you plan to use your own Tremendous account:

  1. Invite your Extole CSM as an admin in your Tremendous account.

  2. Your CSM will coordinate with the Support team to set up the integration.

Integration can take a few business days. Once completed, Tremendous will appear as an option in the Rewards section of My.Extole.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long do recipients have to redeem a Tremendous reward?

Recipients have five years to click the reward link and choose a payout. Once redeemed, expiration depends on the selected reward type.

Can recipients get a physical card?

Yes. A physical Visa card is available for U.S. recipients.

Is there a maximum reward amount?

Limits vary by product. View available denominations in the Tremendous Rewards Catalog.

Can funds be reclaimed for unredeemed rewards?

Rewards can be canceled within seven days of ordering. After that, funds cannot be reclaimed.

Can reward emails be customized?

Yes. Emails can be customized directly within the Extole platform.

Can Tremendous combine multiple rewards into one payout?

No. Tremendous does not aggregate rewards. If needed, consider using Extole’s Reward Bank feature.

Does Tremendous collect W9 information?

Yes, a W9 collection flow can be enabled. Once a recipient reaches a threshold, they must submit W9 information before redeeming more rewards. Note: Tremendous does not verify W9 data.

When are funds charged to the client’s account?

Funds are deducted when the order is placed—not upon redemption.

Are there fees for certain payout options?

Yes. PayPal, Venmo, and ACH redemptions incur a 2% fee (minimum $0.25, maximum $2.99). Digital gift cards are fee-free.

Does Tremendous provide redemption data?

Tremendous offers summary data on gift card types selected. It does not include individual redemption amounts or balances.

Are there brand guidelines for referencing Visa or other brands?

Yes. Follow brand-specific guidelines for any brands used. Refer to the Tremendous Cardholder Agreement and Tremendous Terms & Conditions for details.
