Overview
For clients that use Tango gift card rewards, they will receive an email with a link to redeem their digital gift card. This reward email can be customized with your own branding, messaging and choice of reward. Unlike other emails sent from the Extole platform, this template can only be configured by your CSM as it’s sent directly from Tango Card.
Customizing your Tango Email
The actual reward email design is configured by your CSM in Tango Rewards Genius, but you can customize the messaging.
Editable elements in Tango templates
Logo / header image (branding)
Tango supports branded templates using custom header images.
Header image requirements:
650 x 150 px
.JPEG or .PNG
Email Sender Name / Subject Line
The email will come from [email protected], but you can change the “name” that it comes from. Recommended to do something like {Company Name} Referral Rewards
Message content in the template body
This copy will be at the top of the email and can include simple HTML styling
3,000 character limit
Redemption text and instructions
Not editable. You cannot change the redemption text or instructions.
Redemption text is created by the reward distributor and is included automatically based on the reward.
Email Closing
Editable copy at the end of the email
Best practice: add a hyperlink here to your referral program so that advocates and friends can keep on referring.

If recipients report missing emails:
Ask them to check spam/junk folders
Confirm they don’t have filters blocking [email protected]
