Visited Events Report

Updated over a month ago

Overview

With its default configuration, our Visited Events report gives you a list of transacted events where the consumer is a new-to-file consumer. It can also be used to generate a list of new-to-file registrations or conversions.

Visited Events Report Filters

  • Date Range: The range of data that will be in the report. Note that these are trailing date and time ranges, so "last week", for example, is the last 7 days.

  • Step: The step that the person visited. Steps are the events in your program and typically have an actor (either a friend or an advocate) as well as an action.

    • If you want to see New to File conversions, the step name you'll use here is converted.

    • If you want to see New to File registrations, the step name you'll use here is registered.
Note: currently, if you are using email capture in your program, it will be counted in the registered step.

    • Your specific transacted event is dependent on your program flow -- it is likely whichever event we reward.

    • If a consumer is a New to File converter but converted multiple times in the given time range, this report will list their conversion in the time range.

Advanced

  • Visit Type: This defaults to "New To Client" and indicates the type of visit that the person made. You can choose to filter by people who you have seen for the first time ("New To Client"), who have visited the program for the first time ("New To Program"), who have visited the campaign for the first time ("New To Campaign"), or all people.

  • Quality: This defaults to "All" and indicates the quality of the step. You can choose to filter by steps of all quality, only steps of high quality, only steps of low quality, or steps without a quality.

  • Container: This defaults to your production container. You can choose to instead run this report for only people in your test container.

  • Source: This defaults to all sources. You can choose to filter this report by the source the event originates from (e.g. global header, global footer, etc.).

  • Channel: This defaults to all channels. You can choose to filter this report by the channel the event originates from (e.g. email, SMS, Facebook, etc.).

  • Include Advocate: This defaults to off, but toggling it on will include advocate information for the given events. For example, run it for the step "registered" and toggle on "Include Advocate" to see the friends who have registered and the advocates who have referred them.
